Malaika Mollel made her debut on the international stage as she unveiled her wearable art collection beyond the borders of Finland. An exclusive invitation extended by the Embassy of Finland prompted her participation in the prestigious Swahili Fashion Week. The response to Malaika's distinctive collection was exceptionally positive, marking a successful and warmly received introduction to the global fashion scene.

Lilla Roberts Fashion celebration
Malaika Mollel actively engaged in the Lilla Roberts Fashion Celebration, where her artistic prowess shone through with the presentation of two meticulously crafted outfits on the runway. Additionally, one of her exquisite kimonos found its place in a bespoke styling session for the esteemed General Manager, Kati Jousimies, enhancing the event with a touch of wearable artistry.

Puhos Loves People
Puhos Loves People 2022 event was the first time Malaika showcased her clothing collection in a fashion show right after launching her first ever clothing collection the weekend before (30.7.2022) in a pop up event.

Being Black exhibition at Helsinki City Museum
Malaikas' first painting collection of nine Afro ladies are showcased at 'Being Black - Afro Finns experiences' exhibition right in the heart of Helsinki. Also a clothing set inspired by the painting collection is available for viewing.
Scrunchies, coffee, cards and magnets with Malaikas' design are sold at the museum shop. The exhibition is free of charge.
